Our experience with Donna and SOAR have been nothing short of fantastic! When my son, Lawson, first began OG tutoring for a reading disability, he was struggling, and so was I. His confidence was dim as frustration with reading and deciphering words grew heavier on the both of us. As a homeschool mom, I felt the burden of not being able to teach him how to read— reading came naturally to me and my other child. I had tried a different approaches, none of which had worked. Lawson started seeing Donna in 2021 and slowly began improving. After a few months, he began making big leaps with reading skills and by the end of last year, was reading on grade level! Words will never accurately describe the amount of gratitude I have for Donna and her team. By giving him the necessary skills and tools needed for reading, she has helped change the trajectory of Lawson’s future and for that we are forever thankful.
